I guess I phrased that badly. I don't mean that they flip a coin. I mean that they don't, and can't, know what the demand curve really looks like. No one knows. We can do research, and talk to customers and crunch numbers, but in the end all we can do is guess. Maybe the guess is pretty good, maybe the guess is wildly inaccurate.
