Seldom would a program be written in assembly.  On the other hand, for
debugging, programs would often (by developers) be READ in
(dis)assembly.  Perhaps we should develop a syntax that is designed to
be easy to understand when read, and we'll compromise that only where
we need to in order to make writing an assembler feasible.
