This reminds me of yet another issue to deal with. I have a report of a recent AMD64 board that does the following: } BIOS setup: 31.4khz 70hz } BIOS test msgs, disks 31.4khz 60hz } OS booting 31.4khz 70hz Note the frequency change. Probably different parts of the firmware were written by different people.
