I recall people wanting fancy features for CAD awhile back. I don't recall the exact details. > Are you=20 > seriously saying that you don't know _anywhere_ you can borrow a normal=20 > monitor for half an hour? This isn't about my personal needs/desires. I could configure it via the rs-232 port, or perhaps some other method. This is about not throwing out useful (necesary to some) features that are easy and inexpensive. I fully agree with not supporting the high-end gaming features, since they are difficult and expensive. > > > Putting things like jumpers on a board cost money. =C2=A0Each jumper wi= > ll > > > increase the cost of each board by about =C2=A31 > > > > I wasn't suggesting that the pins need to be lovingly installed by Swiss > > watchmakers. =C2=A0If a pin costs a pound the rest of the board must cost > > thousands. And another post suggested inefficent use of the jumpers to increase the number of jumpers needed. > How many jumpers did you need, again? How many modes do you want to support? _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
