I'm not sure how you coupld violate a patent by documenting a register... But then I'm not a Lawyer (spit). I understood that patents were PUBLIC knowledge. And provided public documentation of an invention in return for a fixed period of protection for that invention. Unless patents mean something else in the US? Do the US have non-disclosed patents? H
