Moin,

I finally had some time to go trough a book i got a while
back. It's "Video Demystified" from Keith Jack.

IMHO it's a book worth having for this project as it lists
and explains quite a few of the analog stuff we have to deal with.

It first starts with an introduction to colour spaces, then goes
over to the way how video signals are encoded in the analog world.
After an overview over digital video interfaces it continous with
a few basic video encoding principles and finaly closes with an
overview of digital television.
