Such an emulator can be very useful for driver writers since they can
halt the virtual machine, and even record instruction stream traces in
order to "run the code backwards."
That sounds like a good idea. If some others have the time to work on
it, I can help them with that. Otherwise, we can just wait until we
have prototypes.
