After the recent Intel 965 open sourcing announcement,
I'm guessing anybody who owns one of these patents is sifting
through the Intel source code eagerely looking for infringements.

Actually, Intel was careful that it isn't their source code, it is this open source project's.

That said, if their current cross licensing agreements don't cover the 965 and Radeon stuff, I see another round of AMD vs. Intel litigation coming.

We should be prepared to duck and cover as this might go nuclear. :-)
