That is the format you are supposed to get on BlueRay but none of it has
shipped yet. This year we are starting to get TVs on the market that
support 1080P. There are no plans to broadcast 1080P, is it only for DVD
type media currently. The other big source of 1080P is going to be the 
PS/3.

1080P is not that extreme. The Dell monitor sitting on my desk is doing
1200P, 1080P is just unusual for a television.
