Subpixel accuracy refers to having non-integer coordiates.

Subpixel drawing can sometimes refer to the case where the drawing
engine's working resolution is rectangularly some multiple of the
physical resolution, resulting in full-screen antialiasing.

And then there's the LCD thing...
