Do you really want your grandma to open up a monitor with 25-30 KV inside to add a DDC2 chip? The better monitors don't have HD-15 connectors, they have BNCs. There is no DDC wire to solder the chip to. Useful for proving in the design of the OGD and OGC prototypes. Useful with other cards. Maybe someone wants to use a fixed freq monitor with an ATI/Nvidia/... chip to play games. Or wants to use their existing non-OGP chip to limp along on while waiting for OGC to come out. _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
