Software uses click-wrap licences to limit use, which is a form of
contract. It has nothing to do with copyright. Unless I missed
something.
You miss something. The licence you agreed are based on copyright law.
But software have some exception like you could only have one
"sauvegarde copy" , there is no faire use or private copy right.
But if you could reach a lawyer that could help us, why not. But you
need to find a lawyer with a lot of time and a lot of knowledge in
hardware design fields .
