Of course there's no surprise. It's a question of moral high ground. If I wasn't on this list, I would never have known that nVidia's competitive strategy was harmful to me. As a cynical buyer I would say, what a great product, I'm so lucky to have this wonderful company supply me with so much high quality for such a low price...

At the risk of sounding bored, people have had so many complaints about their binary drivers (compatibility, stability, etc.) that this one just doesn't stand out to me. It comes absolutely as no surprise. Not to downplay security, but this just doesn't affect anyone who never bothered to take the risk of buying an nVidia card in the first place.
