Well, on the mid-range nvidia card (passively cooled, gainward 7600gs,
$150-$200) you have 2x DVI, and the specs say dual link. I don't know if
it is both DL, or DL+SL..  but certainly it won't lock the clock
together, to drive a "quad link" panel.. which could be done with OGD1.

I would like to add this quote to news17.. can you elaborate a little
about what can be done here?
(think of the children :-), well, at least think of a quote for those
who are not very technical)
