I may not understand the suggestion.  OGA is a spec for a fixed
function 3D pipeline.  It's only appropriate for an FPGA or an ASIC.
If we were to use DSPs or CPUs, we'd have to have a completely
different sort of architecture.  We could design it to do similar
things.

how about using something like this then, wich allows to have a powerpc 405 core plus your own stuff next to it ?
