There hasn't been much traffic on the subject (blame me), but we have a preliminary version of the nanocontroller, with assembler and simulator/debugger. The simulator can run real code, but it has not been optimised, systematically tested, or been prepared for integration with peripherials. The timing optimisation may still motivate changes to the instruction set.
