Well, I have some more details now. My presentation will be 30 minutes in length, and it will be in Dutch. I've made a first set of slides in English, so that we can discuss them here. It's really just an outline so far, but I figured I'd release early, release often. You can find it at http://www.xs4all.nl/~lourens9/softwarefreedomday2007_lourens_ogp_v1_en.odp The contents are a bit of a mix: there's an overview of OGP and OGD1, I'm going to talk about the OHF for a bit, add some of my own ideas of how Open Hardware could be defined, with a touch of Terry Hancock's ideas here and there (read his excellent "Towards a free matter economy" series in Free Software Magazine if you don't know what I'm talking about). Here are the key slides so you can get a quick idea and for easy quoting and replying: 3. History of the OGP 4. Economics: Software vs. Hardware 5. Project Organisation 6. Products: OGD1 8. OGD1 and Beyond 9. The Open Hardware Foundation 10. Open Hardware Philosophy 13. Open Hardware and Freedom Cheers, Lourens
