Good idea. I've been working on the new homepage for a bit; it needs a 
bit more still. It's interesting trying to create an attractive page 
within the constraints of a wiki. Very 1998 in a sense :-). Anyway, 
it's been slow going due to flu and the day job eating up lots of time. 
I'm guessing these two are related. Oh well.

I've had a look at the about, contributing and planning/roadmap pages as 
well. They need updating and cleaning up.

they need, how much of that do we already have, and what needs to be
