I know that Michael M. started on some of the validation code for this
part (As I tricked him into doing it), but I'm not 100% sure as to how
far he got.
Not far at all. I ended up writing some test cases for my own code to
learn how to write test cases, and then well.. it just slipped my
mind I guess.

A lot of work has been done here by me, and there should be at least a
suitable framework for this in the SVN based upon the PCI test that
you
(Tim) wrote. However, nothing passed anything, but at least it should
leave a good start point.
Now, I would really really love to join the code sprint, but I have my
Ph.D "sub project" that has a dead line in august as well, and a
computer architecture summer school which I am to attend, so I'm a tad
to busy for anything serious. That being said, if there is small bits
and pieces out of the critical path to be done, I could always spare a
evning or two. But I'm afraid that I might be somewhat busy until the
end of August :/
Count me out as well. I have to get projectvga in demo-able state
(officially) before July. Which will never happen.
Cheers,
Michael
