Embedded tends to imply limited resources (slow CPU, small memory ...). Not a good match with bloatware like KDE or Gnome. What about a much smaller graphical web browser like links or dillo? (note: links has both text and graphical modes). If the embedded thingy has a limited resolution display, I'd suggest links as it has better support for changing text and graphics sizes than any other browser I've seen. And you can adjust gamma if you're into that. :-) If the embedded thingy needs security, dillo actually cares about security, unlike most browsers. _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
