I'm trying to synthesize OpenRISC 1200 for Xilinx. There's a tutorial online, but it appears to be very out of date because it refers to things that don't exist in the release I downloaded.
One of the things I'm trying to find out, for any target technology, is what is the total number of gates and how many of those are pipeline register flipflops. I wonder if there are any statistics mentioned anywhere on that. Anyone know anything about this?
