A couple of other thoughts:

The only way to ensure that you get a card is to buy it.  Purchases
are first-come-first-served, and they take priority over all lendings.
 Although we're not entitled to the money, we may be able to talk
Linux Fund into helping us kickstart our new direction.  Andre and I
will soon start presenting and discussing new project ideas on the
list.  Some outside cash would certainly help with their production.
