This will probably get ripped up completely, but I'm just thinking out
loud.  I've committed a simple DRAM timing simulator.  The git head is
here:

At some point, we're going to have to debate whether events in the
simulator will be put into a global queue (so we advance clock in one
place, mostly) or if they'll be processed in their respective modules
(thereby requiring that we call advanceClock separately for each
individual component).
