Sure. And none of the other computers under 30¤ have HDMI output
which can be hooked up to a huge LCD TV.

Not really. Hipsters with LCD TVs can afford paying 50¤ instead of
30¤ and students can learn much the same things with 1¤ Cortex-M0,
certainly with 30¤ Carambola/ARIA G25 machines, as with the 30¤ rpi.

..since that HDMI output can't really be programmed anyway.

The rpi price isn't what is unique - the marketing is.
