Sigma Designs chips are said to have problems with anything other than plain
play mode. We need rewind, fast forward, freeze frame, slow motion, etc.
I saw a good review of a player using the new chip.
Do you remember where you saw this review?
I have to say that I don't and that I haven't been able to find it.
I note that Pioneer is supposed to be coming out with a BR player that
uses this chip. A Google search turned up a lot of hits.
