Well I thought I’d try loading Evergreen on an old workstation so I
can test it out to transfer some of our School and Public libraries
from Spectrum to Evergreen. I decided to try to load it on Fedora 6.
Fedora is installed the Perl Modules are installed, Apache is up and
running PostgreSQL is installed with the tsearch2 utilities. I’m at
the point to load the openSRF.
Downloaded and extracted OpenSRF.
Did a ‘make install’ and I get this error:
source install.conf && make -s -C src install
install-prep
objson-install
opensrf-install
cp: cannot stat `/tmp/ilstemp/opensrf/libopensrf.so': No such file or
directory
make[1]: *** [opensrf-install] Error 1
make: *** [install] Error 2
What am I missing?
Did you do 'make' before running 'make install'?
I’ve kept notes on my install and will share them once I’ve gotten
everything up and running. Since this is just a test server and if our
group decides to go with Evergreen I want them for the install on a
main server.
Excellent! Best of luck,
