Hello Dale, I am sorry this problem still plagues you. Your OpenSRF log has no errors at all in it, so it seems the problem is occurring at a higher level than that. My hunch would be possibly something amiss with Apache. Are there any significant entries in your httpd error log? Are you making sure to restart Apache after restarting the OpenILS stack?
I also noticed that your config files point to libopen.uchicago.edu but your client is logging into simply "libopen". Does it make any difference if you specify the full name? Even if it doesn't, this might be something to watch out for as you check your Apache config, especially if you are using name-based virtual hosts.
