[OPEN-ILS-DEV] Error on editing MARC record

We're running Evergreen version 1.2.3.0 (source) and XULrunner 1.8.1.3 
on SLES

When we are trying to edit a MARC record after inserting it, the 
following error appears:

/FIXME.MARC editor, my_init: SyntaxError: missing =XML attribute/

Any idea what the problem could be?
