I do believe there is a new version of this found at a different URL,
rather than " https://[hostname]/opac/extras/selfcheck/selfcheck.xml";
that's in the docs currently. Try
https://[hostname]/eg/circ/selfcheck/main and see how that treats you.
You should be able login with a user created with the "Selfcheck"
profile.

Thanks for your help and explanation. I did not find a "patron
profile" called "Selfcheck" on my EG 2.4 alpha1 test server, but I got
it to work OK with an existing staff account that came with the
concerto test data. I'll update and then move this section over.
