I've been remiss in sharing this information with the list. As many of
you know, MassLNC contracted with OmniTI last spring to conduct a
performance evaluation of Evergreen. There have been a few Launchpad
bugs created to incorporate some database optimizations recommended by
their PostgeSQL analyst, but they also delivered a report to use in
December with recommendations and findings from the evaluation. I posted
the report on the Evergreen wiki at
http://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=dev:testing:performance_report. Our
hope is that the report will lead to discussions in the developer
community that may lead to other ideas to improve performance in Evergreen.
