I have all the pre req's installed and have reached 5.1 in the install

I'm thinking that I have missed something but have gone over the instructions
and can't see what was missed.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Josh, Debian Jessie update 3 (8.3) was just released (Jan 23rd) , it
looks like your trying to grab update 2 files. Try an 'apt-get update' to grab
the latest package lists and then re-try the dependency install.

Thanks for your help Jason.

On the command (make -f src/extras/Makefile.install delian-jessie), it fails to
download some of the archives. ( screen shot attached)

Then the command( ./configure --prefix=/openils --sysconfdir=/openils/conf
make) also fails. (screenshot attached)

Could you please advise what I need to do to progress?

Cheers,
Josh Fitzgerald

You need to be in the directory where you extracted OpenSRF to run that command
as-is.

Otherwise, you can add the directory where OpenSRF was extracted before src/.

Quoting Service Desk <[email protected]>:

Hi,

We are in the process of trying to install Evergreen on Debian 8.2.

Following the install instructions which directs you to install
OpenSRF first and am following those instructions.

I have run into trouble with the first set of commands.

Please see the screenshot(attached).

Any assistance that you could provide me to proceed past this step
would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Josh Fitzgerald
