Hi all, I converted and added Kathy's holds documentation to the 2.1 documentation and repository. Thanks Kathy! I added these to the circulation chapter.
I also added the documents which were contributed by Sally Fortin and Equinox. Thanks Sally and Equinox! I also pulled in the reports documentation from 2.0 as suggested by Tim Spindler. Thanks Tim! Most of the documentation is based on documentation created for previous versions of Evergreen, but I also added a section on holds notification methods that we found useful in explaining questions like "why doesn't the phone number on a holds slip match any number in the patron's record?" I think the big change for holds in 2.1 is the addition of parts-level holds. However, when reviewing the documentation this morning, I noticed there are some other changes from the documentation created for 1.6 (e.g. clearing shelf-expired holds, automatic retargeting after marking a pull list item as missing.) I don't have access to a 2.0 system to see how much of this was introduced in 2.0 and what is new in 2.1. Would anyone be willing to run through these instructions on a 2.0 system to see how much can be re-used for the 2.0 documentation page? Thanks!
