I have gone through the documention for acquisitons (chapter 3) in 2.0 and it can be moved up to 2.1 with the following changes.
*Chapter 3: Acquisitions Workflow* (see https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/19acLgCliJnsq705qmuzxGyCQTSfvOWlQi4RFyNKs_tc/edit) for corrected workflow diagram with removed C/W MARS specific comments. *Chapter 3: Claims* "Manual claiming of items can be accomplished in multiple ways, but electronic claiming is not available in the 2.0 release. You can apply claim policies to line items or individual copies. You also can use the default claim policy associated with your provider to claim items." change to "Manual claiming of items can be accomplished in multiple ways, but electronic claiming is not available. You can apply claim policies to line items or individual copies. You also can use the default claim policy associated with your provider to claim items." *Chapter 3: Invoice Acquisitions* * * "You can create invoices for purchase orders, individual line items, and blanket purchases. You can also link existing invoices to purchase orders. In 2.0, all invoicing is manual." change to "You can create invoices for purchase orders, individual line items, and blanket purchases. You can also link existing invoices to purchase orders." --- Remove the following comment: "Only paper invoicing is available in the 2.0 release. Electronic invoicing may be available in future releases." *Chapter 3: Patron Requests* I haven't tested this but it is my understanding it is available in 2.1 so I guess documentation is needed for this but the statement about not being available should be removed. -- Tim Spindler Manager of Library Applications [email protected] 508-755-3323 x20 C/W MARS, Inc. 67 Millbrook St, Suite 201 Worcester, MA 01606 http://www.cwmars.org *P** Go Green - **Save a tree!
