Part of the Circulation Policies that determine how materialc circulate, Circ
Duration Rules define the length of a loan period and maximum renewals. Used in
conjunction with Cirulation Modifier, Recurring Fines Rules, Max Fine Rules,
patron Permission Group, and Org Unit in the Circulation Policies map.

* Displays only 9 rules per "page" navigable by clicking back or next
* Click / double click on column header to change sort order
---++ Elements of a Circ Duration Rule
* name - apears in selection lists, other configuration screens
* max_renewal - number of allowed renewals
* shrt [sic] - short loan duration
* normal - mid-length (or, local 'default') duration
* extended - long loan duration

1 From the Staff Client Admin Menu, select Server Administration >
Circulation Duration Rules
1 Click New Duration Rule
1 In the dialog box, enter values for:
* name
* max_renewals
* shrt
* normal
* extended
1 Click Save
1 Rule is added to the list

---++ Edit an Existing Rule
1 In the list of rules, double click the rule to edit
1 In the dialog box, make necessary changes
1 Click Save
1 Rule is updated

1 Rule is deleted; there is no opportunity to cancel

1 Click New Recurring Fine Rule
1 In the dialog box, enter values for:
* name
* recurrence_interval
* low
* normal
* high
* grace_period - if grace period is left blank, 1 day will be
automatically added
1 Click Save
1 Rule is added to the list

* Rule Name - apears in selection lists, other configuration screens
* Max Fine Amount - dollar amount
* Is Percent - true or false value, ??

1 From the Staff Client Admin Menu, select Server Administration >
Circulation Max Fine Rules
1 Click New Max Fine Rule
1 In the dialog box, enter values for:
* Rule Name
* Max Fine Amount
* Is Percent - leave unchecked for False
1 Click Save
1 Rule is added to the list
