Kate, Yamil, and everyone, I think this is the feature Kate was working on:
http://evergreen-ils.org/documentation/release/RELEASE_NOTES_2_6.html#_administration If I remember correctly, she discovered that the whole section was missing, so she first tried to revive the old version of that section and didn’t get to actually adding the new information of the 2.6 feature. I’m not sure where the revived section should go in the docs, though. FYI, I never received Kate’s email with the files, and I don’t see her email on the online list archive. So Yamil, if you want feedback from others, you will want to share the files either on the email list again, or through dropbox or something. Or if you feel pretty good about it, like you mentioned, you could just add them to the master docs and anyone can make edits later. Good job. I can add the changes in the next 24 hours tot he offical docs, but I wanted to get on the same page with you since I am not very familiar with the feature you documented. Can you tell me more about the area of documentation that is needed to be created? Is it found in the "Evergreen in Action" book? Perhaps others can clue me in. Also, if there needs to be some new documentation added that was not part of this new 2.6 feature that Kate worked on, perhaps we can find some new volunteers to help me create this needed documentation from scratch or converted from another format. I had hoped I'd be able to get that done, but as it's still not, it's better to get these in place, if someone who can make changes could have a look and add them.
