Hello, I wanted to thank everyone that participated in this years DIG hack-a-way. In my opinion this has been the most productive DIG hack-way so far. I was also glad to collaborate with some new faces in the same room or virtually.
Here is a short list of those I remembered that participated, but I suspect I am missing some people. So please reply or contact me directly with the names of those that I missed, specially those working remotely. Kate Butler - Rodgers Memorial Library (New Hampshire) Snigdha Dagar - (India) James Keenan - C/W MARS (Massachusetts) Joan Kranich - C/W MARS (Massachusetts) Kathy Lussier - MassLNC (Massachusetts) Jennifer Pringle - Sitka (Canada) Chris Sharp - PINES (Georgia) Ben Shum - Bibliomation (Connecticut) Remington Steed - Calvin College (Michigan) Josh Stompro - Lake Agassiz Regional Library (Minnesota) Yamil Suarez - Berklee (Massachusetts) For this DIG hack-a-way we focused on documenting all new features that are part of the upcoming EG 2.7 release. http://evergreen-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=evergreen-docs:2.7_needs We ended up with about 8 new documentation commits for the 2.7 release, and 3 documentation commits that were backported to the 2.6 release. We also got a chance to discuss how to approach certain types of documentation issues as a group, and to learn new tools and workflows. In addition there are a few more commits for the 2.7 release that I hope to have included before 2.7 comes out. Thank you again to all of those that helped, and I hope we have more new faces next year Yamil _______________________________________________ OPEN-ILS-DOCUMENTATION mailing list [email protected] http://list.georgialibraries.org/mailman/listinfo/open-ils-documentation
