Hello,

I'm working on a test implementation of Open ILS and have gotten a bit
stuck; I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same problem(s).

I'm installing Open ILS on a Debian (Etch) machine, and everything
goes fine until I get to the "Starting Evergreen" section of the
instructions (from the wiki).

First, this command:
osrf_ctl.sh -c /openils/conf/opensrf_core.xml -a start_router

Gives this output:
"Starting OpenSRF Router
!!!! Unable to connect router to jabber server localhost... exiting"

The start_perl and start_c commands seem to go without errors, but I
can't seem to login to the database through srfsh:
isotope:/openils/bin$ srfsh
srfsh# login admin open-ils
???: login admin open-ils

If anyone has ideas about how to fix this that would be great. I'd
offer to include more configuration information, but I'm pretty new to
Open-ILS and am not sure which config files are most relevant.

Thanks much in advance!

Best,
Graham
