If a library has a weeding schedule, the total number of circs can be put in
a report. It doesn't help if you're curious about an item in hand, but if
you keep the schedule up over time, that wouldn't be a concern anyway (aside
from one-off cases like a damaged book and you need to know whether to
replace it or just be rid of it). This is what we're doing, aside from any
physical inspection or looking up in Fiction Catalog that selectors may want
to do, they usually don't have to look up anything in Evergreen for weeding
once they've got their reports in hand.
