If you're only expecting to share things between staff members, shared buckets might be the better thing to use. (The cataloging menu has Record and Copy buckets) They're easier to share, you just tell people a number, like 1, 2, 143, etc.
Plus, depending on what the items are shared for, it may be beneficial to keep specific items together that you're interested in one bucket, and records in a separate one. If you really do want to use bookbags though, I don't know of any way to get the URL off of that little RSS icon in the staff client. You'll probably just have to have someone log in and set the password back to its original value later.
