It may be that the interface isn't refreshing correctly. Try
reloading the interface and see if a new placeholder org unit appears
in the tree for you to edit.
Another strong possibility is that this is another manifestation of
the bug 826844 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/826844)
which prevents org units from being created; it affects 2.0.8.
I have attempted to reply to Jason's post straightaway with mail
containing some lines from osrfsys.log. But amavis obviously doesn't
like logs.
