Evergreen is a very different sort of beast from Unicorn. The staff client and OPAC talk to the same WWW server in general. It is possible to split them, but most sites don't. They instead use "bricks" of servers with a load balancer to spread the load.
In many ways, it is easier to split the backend processes from the WWW server than it is to split the OPAC WWW server from the staff client WWW server.
