Hi Barbara,

Here, we wanted to keep using our laser printers that worked fine in our old 
ILS. To that end, I wrote a little web application and a workflow to get spine 
labels on standard Avery-type label stock.

The workflow involves printing to PDF from Evergreen, instead of to a real 
printer. So you'll need something like the free PDFCreator for that. Then you 
upload the PDF to the web app, for which you'll need a Linux computer with some 
extra stuff installed. You can select where on the label sheet you want the 
output to start. This then generates another PDF that matches the Avery stock 
we use.

Someone with some Linux experience and really basic programming knowledge could 
edit the web app to meet your own needs for fonts, formatting, etc.
