Our cataloguers use the standard LoC authorities as well as a French language
tool called RVM (1), plus a few other services too like the LC Cataloger's
Desktop, etc. http://www.loc.gov/cds/desktop/features.html

In addition, we outsourced the creation of new authority records with one of
the data service vendors, using a large sample of our bibliographic records to
identify headings, etc.. After importing the new authorities, we used a script
that ships with Evergreen to automatically create the links between bibs and
authorities.

Subject: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Authority control, correction

My prior post asking about authority control should have said that my
consortium is considering migration. My library would still like to know what
tools or subscriptions the libraries on this listserv are using for authority
control.
