An article in November 2012 issue of Computers in Libraries titled "Tagging for Subject Access" sent me looking at the comparison tool for this feature in Evergreen. I found two entries under "OPAC" that seemed related to tagging:
1. Use searchable metadata tags http://features.galecia.com/features/general/use-searchable-metadata-tags Evergreen entry is NO 2. Create numerical ratings and tags on titles http://features.galecia.com/features/general/create-numerical-ratings-and-tags-titles Evergreen entry is YES The comment is the same for both YES and NO entries: Evergreen interfaces with a number of 3rd party products that allows for patron reviews and tagging. There is not a native function within Evergreen. I am wondering if the answer should either be YES for both or NO for both, perhaps with a mention of what 3rd party tool(s) to use?
