If you open the patron records for your circulators and circ admin, did you
make sure that the work location is checked?

Subject: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] permissions in Evergreen 2.3.2

Hi,

I am pulling out my hair over permissions in Evergreen. Our circulators and
circulation administrators can't checkout books to patrons! I have gone in
repeatedly at both the group permission editor and individual permission editor
and mapped COPY_CHECKOUT as a permission at the library system level, and,
while the permission sticks at the group level, it defaults to the branch
library level in the individual users permissions, and our circulators and
CircAdmin staff still cannot checkout without getting an admin login.

I am having a similar problem with cataloging administrators not being able to
add a copy. I keep getting the UPDATE_COPY and UPDATE_VOLUME permissions
denied. They are both granted to the cataloging administrators group at the
library system level, but keep coming up at the branch level in the individual
user's permissions.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
