We just upgraded to 2.5.2 yesterday, from 2.3.4. In 2.3.4, the "Create Units for Received Items" checkbox in the serials module was sticky. Meaning, if I left it checked, it stayed checked even after exiting the tab.... And if I unchecked it, it would stay unchecked. This was lovely, because our magazines are barcoded and our newspapers are not. I simply divided the day's mail into two piles and received everything, only checking or unchecking the box once during the entire process (switching from news to mags).
Now in 2.5.2, the checkbox was reappearing with each batch receive, even though I unchecked it each time. Help from Equinox got me to the location for setting this checkbox to be either always checked or never checked... but that doesn't get it to be sticky, staying in either the on or off position until I mess with it. I really miss the stickiness, and was sad to find nothing in Launchpad about this. Does this mean someone has figured out a way to get this stickiness back?
