Hello all,

The Evergreen 2.6 beta was officially release one week ago today. In all, 35
bugs (and features) were committed to 2.6 since the alpha. You can see those
bug tickets here:

https://launchpad.net/evergreen/master/2.6.0-beta1

Altogether, this was a 30% increase over the number of bugs committed during
the alpha, so I feel we were able to appropriately improve our output without
creating a potentially destabilizing deluge of activity.

Now it is my pleasure to once again highlight the contributions of those who
made this beta happen. Yes, the Evergreen Medals of Honour are back for a
second round, and they are slightly more different than ever! Rather than a
single medal of each type, there are now multiple grades based on the a simple
stratification of each type of contribution. Without further ado:

A. HANCOCK Medal of Fortitude (for reviewing and signing off on another
community member's code)

To all who are mentioned once or more above, thank you! The 2.6 beta would not
have been the same without you. Also, it is my hope that the additional grades
might serve as a source of recognition (and perhaps inspiration), but they are
in no way meant to diminish the contribution of anyone on these lists.
Finally, again, I am very sorry if I legitimately left anybody out. Feel free
to speak up :)

Sincerely,
Dan
