After rereading your June 5 update yesterday, I circled Sept 22 for our switch to 2.7.
Sounds like the delay for alpha hasn’t changed the goal for completion date of Sept 18. Thanks for the update! And thanks to everyone working on this release. As core committers add the actual code to master, please update the bug tickets there to move them onto the actual 2.7-* milestones. This alpha release is a good start, but we've still got lots more exciting work ahead. The next scheduled milestone is 2.7.0-beta1 and that is when we will also freeze new features.
