Hi Yamil,

Feel free to fill out the form as many times as you want if you want to test more than one bug. During the developers meeting, the consensus was that we probably only want one development branch on a Sandbox at a time. Depending on demand, though, we could either provide two different Sandboxes or (more likely) when you are done testing one, we could load another branch. I was just experimenting yesterday with the new script Thomas Berezansky created to set up the MassLNC VM's, and it only takes about 15 minutes to destroy the old VM, create a new one, and load the working branch. Easy peasey.

Kathy,

I just signed up to test a bug. Would you want us to sign up for more than one
bug this time around? If so, should we fill out the form more than once?

Thanks in advance,
Yamil

Hi all,

Our first community bug squashing day is Tuesday. I'm sending along an update
as well as a reminder regarding the bug squashing day sandboxes.

MOBIUS has set up five Sandboxes running Evergreen 2.6.1 and MassLNC has set up
four Sandboxes running master where bug fixes can be tested. Many thanks to
MOBIUS for providing Sandboxes and the MVLC staff, who got the MassLNC
Sandboxes running.

The Sandboxes will allow any Evergreen user with an interest in getting bugs
fixed to test code to make sure the proposed fix works. No special skills are
required to use a Sandbox. You just need to be able to download and install an
Evergreen client and to have some familiarity with the area of the system you
are testing.

If you would like to request a Sandbox so that you can test a bug fix, we need
a little bit of lead time, so I'm asking that Sandbox requests be submitted by
the end of the day today. You can do so by filling out the form at
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1ai8yL-XbCo3v8dxgMTCYcam_OtM93yzXv1WYF3MUm8Y/viewform?usp=send_form
 or http://bit.ly/YFdCVb

You can view a list of bugs with code ready to test at http://bit.ly/1mum0My.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!

Kathy
