You are needed! The web browser staff client is making exciting progress, and we need documentation that reflects that work. And since the browser client is being designed to closely mirror the existing client, we don't expect any drastic differences in the documentation, just minor edits and new screenshots. Are you interested in helping? Please email the Documentation Interest Group (DIG) and let us know: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>. No experience necessary.
Thus far, the circulation interfaces have been the main focus of the new client. You can provide valuable feedback by following the current client's instructions<http://docs.evergreen-ils.org/2.6/_circulation_2.html> while using the browser client's interfaces and noting anywhere that the documentation needs to be updated. You can also help by documenting the unique features of the browser client (how to sort grids, add columns, change settings, etc.), similar to the Using the Staff Client<http://docs.evergreen-ils.org/2.6/_using_the_staff_client.html> section in the current documentation. Equinox is hosting a community demo server here: https://webby.evergreencatalog.com/eg/staff/ login: admin password: demo123 Details on what is included in the demo so far: http://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=dev:browser_staff:dev_sprints:1 Additional notes can be found here: http://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=dev:browser_staff:dev_notes Please email DIG with any questions or to express interest!
